“I can’t say enough great things about this place….

Not only is it far and the best orthodontist practice I’ve ever been to, but it’s also one of the most well-run businesses. Every single person who works there is personable, friendly, and always has a genuine smile on their face. We feel welcome, recognized, and appreciated when we visit.

The waiting area is almost unnecessary because the appointments are ALWAYS exactly on time or a few minutes early if you are present. But it is a beautiful lounge with comfortable seating, free coffee and cappuccino machine, free bottles of water, and ipad stations for the kids to play on while they wait (which is rarely longer than 2 mins)

The receptionist knows everyone by name and provides a warm greeting at check-in every single time, even recalling something we joked about the last time we visited. So personable.

All the hygienists are well-trained and efficient, and do a wonderful job of putting the patient at ease. They explain everything in great detail and are very honest and clear about any discomfort they may experience during the procedures.

The online appointment schedule is simple and gives you enough options to make it work around your schedule. Or they are happy to take your call and find something else if you have conflicts. We’ve been late a few times because of traffic – no big deal – they get you in and take care of you. We’ve even had same-day cancellations for sickness – no problem, no charge, just reschedule when you are feeling better.

I don’t know how Dr. Gerlein pulls it off, but not only is he ready immediately when called for a patient, but he is able to do that while engaging in friendly banter with patients, parents, and caregivers, about whatever is going on in their life, what the are going to be for Halloween, you name it. I don’t know how, but he is happy and full of energy every single time. And he is darn good at his job too.

Lastly, and this is a kid favorite, they run monthly contests involving random drawings, or quizzes to see how much you know about Dr. G, or who can create the most interesting Thanksgiving dish and there is always a cool prize like an iPad involved. Not to mention their points system where patients get rewarded for each visit, wearing their Gerlein t-shirt, and many other uniquely designed categories to help keep the kids engaged and looking forward to coming. My kids love keeping track of their points while deciding what they are going to spend their Amazon gift card on.

If someone you know needs orthodontic work, just stop looking and go to Gerlein. You will not find a better experience in this area, and probably not anywhere in the country for that matter.”
